To all COPE Local Secretary-Treasurers
In June 2007 the Second Triennial Convention of the Canadian Office
and Professional Employees Union voted to increase the contribution
of Local unions to the National Strike and Lockout Benefits and
Defence Fund starting with the month of January 2009 per capita
which is payable in February 2009. We have prepared a new Per
Capita Remittance Form showing the new Strike and Lockout Benefits
and Defence Fund amount. Please use the Per Capita
Remittance Form – 2009 to prepare your 2009 per
capita reports to the National Union. For any outstanding months
from 2008, please use the Per Capita
Remittance Form - 2008.
